Disposable Gmail Generator
Generate disposable Gmail addresses using dots and plus signs (no new account needed!)
How it works: Gmail ignores dots (.) and everything after a plus sign (+) in your email address. This means youremail+anything@gmail.com and your.email@gmail.com both go to youremail@gmail.com. Use this to create unlimited disposable addresses for different services!
What is a Disposable Gmail Address?
A disposable Gmail address is a temporary variation of your real Gmail address that uses Gmail's built-in aliasing features. Unlike temporary email services, these addresses still deliver to your main inbox, allowing you to receive emails without creating a new account.
Gmail offers two powerful features that enable disposable addresses:
- Plus Addressing (+): Add a plus sign and any text after your username (e.g., youremail+shopping@gmail.com)
- Dot Trick (.): Add or remove dots anywhere in your username (e.g., your.email@gmail.com)
Why Use Disposable Gmail Addresses?
- Protect Your Privacy: Use different aliases for different services
- Filter & Organize: Create filters based on the alias used
- Track Who Shares Your Email: See which alias gets spam
- Easy Disposal: Simply stop using an alias if it gets spam
- No New Account Needed: All emails go to your main inbox
- Free & Unlimited: Create as many aliases as you want
How to Use Gmail's Plus Addressing
Everything after the + sign is ignored by Gmail. This allows you to create unlimited variations:
- youremail+shopping@gmail.com - For online shopping
- youremail+newsletters@gmail.com - For newsletters
- youremail+work@gmail.com - For work-related signups
- youremail+social@gmail.com - For social media accounts
How to Use Gmail's Dot Trick
Gmail ignores all dots in the username portion. All of these go to the same inbox:
- youremail@gmail.com
- your.email@gmail.com
- y.o.u.r.e.m.a.i.l@gmail.com
- yourem ail@gmail.com (spaces become dots)
Creating Filters for Your Aliases
To automatically organize emails sent to different aliases:
- Go to Gmail Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses
- Create a new filter
- In the "To" field, enter your alias (e.g., youremail+shopping@gmail.com)
- Choose an action like "Apply label" or "Skip the inbox"
- Click "Create filter"
Important Tips
- Some websites may reject plus signs in email addresses
- The dot trick always works with Gmail
- You can combine both methods: youremail+shopping@gmail.com
- Use these aliases to identify which service sold your email
- Create a filter to automatically delete spammy aliases
